BS in Organizational & Community Leadership
Organizational and Community Leadership majors accept the challenge of leadership in an increasingly complex, global, and fastāpaced world. Our graduates are prepared to mobilize people for ethical, socially responsible, and sustainable change that improves the lives of individuals, communities, organizations, and society. Our majors have the opportunity to focus on an area of interest specific to their future career goals or to take an appropriate minor outside the leadership major. Current defined areas of interest are: Environmental Sustainability, Intercultural Dynamics, Public Policy, and Global Perspectives.
BA in Public Policy
The Public Policy degree intergrates concepts across different disciplines equipping students with the tools required to examine and understand the purpose and impacts of public policies that address the social, economic, political and environmental conditions affecting communities in the U.S. and globally.
As a Public Policy major, you will gain knowledge and skills to help effect change in the public, nonprofit and private sectors as entry-level analysts, public officials, and community and civic leaders. Students will understand the processes associated with the intent, impact, benefits and disadvantages of public policies associated with social issues, the economy, the environment, and community development.
