Research Symposium

The School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy established the Research Symposium in 2006. This Symposium provides an opportunity to learn about the high quality research being conducted within our School and its related Centers. It provides a unique opportunity for students to participate in and observe professional research presentations in a conference-like format.

Research SymposiumWith two sessions running concurrently, participants are afforded 15 minutes to present their research. Following all presentations, there is a 30-45 minute discussion period. With the presentations based on research that has been done for projects, as well as work conducted for dissertations, theses, or analytical papers, this symposium offers a wide range of research and projects to be shared.

This has been an informative learning experience for all involved. With the success that we have achieved throughout the first two Symposiums, we are looking forward to another informative and exciting event this year.
