Recognition and Rankings
The University of Delaware School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy is equally ranked in 2008 with the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Illinois at Chicago among schools of public affairs by US News and World Report. Our City Management Program is ranked 10th with Syracuse University and our nonprofit program ranked 16th.
Our Master in Public Administration program is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration. We are the only program in the State of Delaware that is NASPAA accredited.
The School received the 2007 Academic Excellence Award from the American Public Human Services Association for its contributions to outstanding education and training in the field of Human Services. .
School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy earned top honors in Planetizen's 2009 Guide to Graduate Urban Planning Programs, an important resource for students who are considering graduate programs in urban planning.
