The School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy at the University of Delaware currently offers five graduate degree programs. Each graduate program then offers several specializations or concentrations so you can tailor your program to be exactly how you want to make a real difference.
Master's of Arts (MA) in Urban Affairs and Public Policy
The Master of Arts in Urban Affairs and Public Policy program is broad-based and flexible, allowing students to pursue a wide range of planning, policy, and research issues affecting the public and nonprofit sectors.
Master's of Public Administration (MPA)
Our NASPAA-accredited Master of Public Administration program offers solid preparation for graduates to succeed in challenging professional careers in government and nonprofit administration and management.
PhD in Urban Affairs and Public Policy
The Ph.D. in Urban Affairs and Public Policy program, one of the oldest in the nation, is research oriented and renowned for its interdisciplinary approach to policy analysis.
Master's of Science in Disaster Science and Management
The Interdisciplinary MS in Disaster Science and Management includes a thesis and non-thesis option. The non-thesis option is intended to be a terminal degree.
Ph.D. in Disaster Science and Management
The Ph.D. in Disaster Science and Management is an interdisciplinary degree organized around thematic areas.
